AirTron Canada has operated for over 50 years providing HVAC/BAS installation, maintenance, and service across Canada. For over two years, AirTron Canada field service technicians have been completing work orders on their mobile devices using FieldAccess, a FieldConnect application that simplifies data entry in the field and integrates with AirTron Canada’s ERP system Dynamics SL. “On the service side of our business, all of our service work order information flows to and from the field electronically,” states Michel Lefebvre, National Support Specialist. “We pay our technicians on a weekly basis. FieldAccess lets us run a report to review technician time and pass it off to payroll. The process takes half an hour. Before we had FieldAccess, the time review and approval process took hours.”

Michel chose FieldConnect to also eliminate the manual time entry for project-based technicians to track time and materials used for installation work. “With the success of FieldAccess for our service technicians, we wanted to be able to do the exact same thing for the project team,” says Michel. Now, 150 of Airtron Canada’s implementation technicians complete their project time entry through FieldProject.
